Function and Usage:

AS drugs, calcium gluconate can reduce the capillary permeability, increase density and maintain normal muscle and nerve excitability, strengthen myocardial contractility, and help with bone formation,be used as a treatment for allergic diseases, such as urticaria, eczema, itching of the skin, contact dermatitis, as well as serum disease, vascular nerve edema as adjuvant therapy. It aslo applies to the convulsion caused by low blood calcium and magnesium poisoning. It can be used for the prevention and treatment of calcium deficiency diease ,etc. As a food additive it is widely used as buffer, curing agent, chelating agents, and nutritional supplements.
